The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Middleware focused Consulting Architect to join us in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for very large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture. You’ll serve as the client advocate on architecture designed to address their business problems and provide direction for design activities. You’ll collaborate with the broader Sales and Technical Delivery teams to bring our customers solutions that improve the Red Hat Middleware suite including J2E runtimes, business rules, business process management, enterprise messaging, data virtualization, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), cloud computing, Red Hat OpenShift, 3scale by Red Hat, and more. As a Consulting Architect, you’ll work closely with the account team, clients, and consultants to ensure that their architectural visions are communicated and delivered effectively. You’ll focus on open source technologies and need to be familiar with Red Hat’s product offerings, while also aware of the wider landscape of both complementing and competing products and technologies. You’ll need to have the ability to motivate and inspire groups, whether the group members have an affinity for Red Hat’s offerings and services or not. You’ll be expected to divide your time between project delivery, non-billable internal initiatives, and presales activities.
