    Job summary

    The Red Hat Training team is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join us in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will work closely with the Red Hat Academy (RHA) business development manager to guide adoption within our Red Hat Academy schools. You will use your customer service skills to engage closely with higher education institutions. You’ll serve as the primary contact for all RHA schools and will be responsible for representing Red Hat to the school leadership and management. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be crucial to the future success of Red Hat, as the RHA program raises awareness and helps meet the skill gap for Red Hat’s solutions portfolio.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for RHA support across Asia Pacific (APAC) after RHA
    • joins the program
    • Design and implement new initiatives and programs in RHA to increase engagement
    • Help promote and guide adoption of RHA through webinars, RHA day, Red Hat Learning Community (RHLC), registrations, RHA partner meets, Red Hat challenge program, open
    • source tech quiz, students industry visits, etc.
    • Promote and process discounts for all exams
    • Work closely with RHA business development management and provide excellent customer service to RHA
    • Forecast and maintain consumption reports and metrics

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree with 3-4+ years of experience working in customer service or operations
    • Understanding of academia and education marketplace
    • Good communication, presentation, listening, and interpersonal skills
    • Motivated with the ability to take initiative and work on your own
    • Ability to persuade internal and external stakeholders and manage ambiguity and change, especially when working with students and teachers
    • Good interpersonal skills, multicultural awareness, and sensitivity
