    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Solutions Sales Executive focused on the container platform and middleware to join us in Puteaux, France. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated sales team to grow and develop our middleware business on an assigned territory of new and emerging customers. You’ll need to identify new business opportunities and do the link between customer issues and Red Hat’s solutions by building lasting, custom-tailored value propositions. As a Solutions Sales Executive, you’ll need to have an excellent combination of customer-facing sales skills and deep technical knowledge of enterprise middleware to address C-level executives.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Grow and develop our container platform and middleware business on an assigned territory
    • Develop qualified pipeline by dedicating at least 20% of your time to understand customer strategy, identify key stakeholders, and power map and build custom-tailored value propositions
    • Work closely with key account managers and solutions architects to identify opportunities in existing key accounts, assist in the creation of account plans, and carry out strategic plans
    • Gain the trust of senior IT and business executives within key accounts and create long-term partnerships with customers
    • Guide and close sales and service opportunities in collaboration with the account team

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience in a solutions sales role
    • Background in consultative customer engagement with either a major middleware software company or within the sales division of a middleware software reseller
    • Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
    • Ability to work with global cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
    • Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills; high level of curiosity
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in French and English, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
    • Broad understanding of enterprise container platform and middleware technologies
    • Robust sales methodology
    • Ability to receive and provide feedback
    • Motivated
