    Job summary

The Red Hat People (HR) Infrastructure Operations team is looking for a Senior HR Coordinator to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, maintaining our applicant tracking system (ATS), and drafting employment contracts and all new hire-related documentation. You will supervise your team and provide domain expertise, leadership, and skills coaching. In addition, you will ensure that all deliverables and services are created using the best practice tools and techniques, that they are delivered on time, and fulfill the highest possible quality criteria. As a Senior HR Coordinator, you will serve as an associate recognized for your subject matter expertise, cooperating on work tasks with your team members while at the same time using your subject matter expertise and persuasive skills to make a difference in the work of others.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Provide guidance and leadership to a group of people for the purpose of achieving operational results
    • Assist in the establishment of program goals and objectives
    • Ensure that the project work plan is followed and assist with the development of the plan if need be
    • Determine action steps, time frames, and resources required to achieve goals and objectives
    • Evaluate and keep management informed of the status and progress of work including delays, modifications, and problems
    • Provide your team associates with the necessary on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring
    • Facilitate assessment of team knowledge, skills, and abilities
    • Oversee day-to-day ServiceNow queue management and ensure that tasks are completed according to the documented quality standards and service-level agreements (SLAs)
    • Provide regular feedback to the systems or operations manager and proactively identify and evaluate potential risks in customer experience
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes or services and share proposals for improvement with the appropriate systems or operations managers
    • Assist with the service measurements and reporting needs like trend and root cause analyses, data audits, and quality reviews
    • Support work transitions by cooperating with the Service Management team and process owners; assist with the process documentation, oversee training, and provide feedback when required
    • Cooperate across HR Infrastructure teams and stakeholder and Centers of Excellence (CoE) partners, provide coverage and support when necessary
    • Live the HR People Infrastructure values (trust, inclusion, customer centricity, and leadership)

    Required skills

    • 5-7+ years of relevant HR, customer service, systems or operations experience, or 2-3+ years of experience working for Red Hat
    • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
    • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
    • Experience handling different types of issues and challenges
    • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • In-depth subject matter knowledge within the assigned area of responsibility
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Advanced skills in office software and applications such as spreadsheets, presentations, ticketing systems, etc.

     

    The following are considered a plus:

     

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 1+ years of experience in a leadership capacity focused on people, project, or initiative management
    • Prior experience working in a shared services organization
    • Experience with the Linux operating system
    • Knowledege of additional European languages
