    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Manager to join us in Singapore. As a Senior Manager of the Solutions Architecture team, you will be a key member of the Sales team in Singapore, providing leadership and guidance to technical presales experts who are responsible for positioning Red Hat’s offerings and services to our customers and partners. You will work closely with Sales Management, Consulting, Marketing, Engineering, and Support teams to meet Red Hat’s sales objectives. As a Senior Manager, you’ll need to have a sales mindset, good leadership and management skills, and excellent customers skills.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Lead the Solutions Architecture team in supporting our field sales teams
    • Collaborate with alliance management on partner engagement strategies
    • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Red Hat’s portfolio and support our sales by translating the capabilities of Red Hat’s offerings into value propositions
    • Select, recruit, develop, and retain a high performing presales team
    • Manage and oversee presales support in account engagements, sales presentations, proofs of concepts, and product demonstrations
    • Work with the marketing team on resourcing for marketing events
    • Work with product managers to provide feedback on Red Hat’s offerings and technologies

    Required skills

    • Demonstrated success in a technical presales role supporting senior sales executives
    • 5-8+ years of experience as a manager of presales engineers
    • Record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations
    • Sales mindset and excellent customer business skills
    • Good leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, recruit, and develop team members
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation writing skills
    • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent technical training
    • Extensive technical background in one of Red Hat's portfolio technologies
