    Job summary

    The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an HR Analyst to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you’ll analyze complex business problems and find ways to solve them with automated solutions. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of our digital human resources information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for HR team planning and activities. In cooperation with the HR team, you’ll evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and design new features and configurations for HRIS or modify the existing HRIS to meet the changing demands and requirements of HR management and staff. In addition, you’ll use standard testing methodologies to evaluate the performance of the system. You’ll also work closely with payroll team to coordinate system’s retrieval and reporting functions.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Be responsible for system administration of HR systems
    • Monitor systems and data, resolve Level 1 and 2 of HR system issues, and escalate issues to IT as needed
    • Perform audits and analyses of HRIS data to ensure system data integrity
    • Maintain HRIS account access for end users, provide training and documentation
    • Create security model based on functional responsibilities and configure HR system to enforce the security access to data
    • Coordinate and communicate HR system updates, configurations, and scheduled downtimes
    • Coordinate with our third party vendors on HR system issues, tickets, projects, and upgrades
    • Implement new modules and upgrade existing HRIS tools and systems   
    • Assist in identifying, implementing, and testing additional functionality to HRIS systems
    • Evaluate, analyze, and design new HR software programs and tools
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for HRIS system deployments as assigned
    • Work with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting and metrics needs, provide consultations as necessary
    • Create specifications for reports based on business needs

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in HRIS
    • Experience working with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), databases, and key data sources
    • Advanced experience with spreadsheet and data analysis
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, cooperative, and communication skills
    • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
