    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Solutions Architecture Intern to join us in Brasília, Brazil. In this role, you will train and prepare for a solutions architect role and help the Sales team achieve their sales targets. You'll be responsible for delivering technical solutions to customers based on requests from customers, Red Hat's partners, internal customers like sales representatives, and other solutions architects. As a Solutions Architecture Intern, you will work together with the solutions architects to gain more technical expertise and experience while providing excellent customer and partner experience.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Serve as a valuable member of the solutions architecture team
    • Demonstrate responsiveness by reacting to requests in a timely manner
    • Demonstrate professionalism by reaching out to peers and senior team members with questions
    • Provide presales technical support for the development and implementation of offerings, applications, and solutions
    • Use your knowledge of our offerings to provide technical expertise to sales associates, customers, and partners through sales presentations and demonstrations of our offerings
    • Prepare detailed specifications for our offerings
    • Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
    • Shadow senior peers to gain experience and learn about the solutions architect role

    Required skills

    • Knowledge of Linux and related technologies or Java architecture and related technologies
    • Knowledge of virtualization or middleware concepts and technologies
    • Currently studying in the last 2 years of a technical university degree program in engineering or computer science
    • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Good presentation skills
    • Ability to read mailing lists and documentation and participate in training courses and enablement training
    • Demonstrated ability to find the correct resources and collect the required information
    • Good communication skills to relay information to internal and external customers
