    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Cloud Solutions Sales Specialist to join us in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Stuttgart, or Düsseldorf, Germany. In this role, you will manage the adoption of Red Hat's cloud solutions and own the overall outcome for the sales of our cloud offerings, working closely with the account teams across Germany. You'll enable Red Hat's major enterprise customers to define, develop, and deploy their modern cloud strategies by cooperating with key account managers, solutions architects, and our partner ecosystem. As a Cloud Solutions Sales Specialist, you will also produce success stories about key strategic projects that will be referenced internally throughout Red Hat.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Work with enterprise sales account teams to build account strategies and guide the cloud strategy within a defined set of verticals
    • Sell Red Hat’s cloud solutions portfolio by scoping, defining, and acquiring new business opportunities
    • Guide customers from adopting virtualization to a private, hybrid, and public cloud using Red Hat’s solutions
    • Build growth go-to-market strategies including partner ecosystems
    • Promote the value of Red Hat's offerings and solutions to prospective customers
    • Create long-term relationships with senior IT and business executives within key accounts that result in customers becoming public references
    • Meet sales expectations and set high standards for the communication and presentation of key messages to C-level executives, both internally and externally

    Required skills

    • 5 years of solutions sales experience
    • Excellent solutions and technical knowledge; ability to understand customer business issues and technology requirements
    • Broad technical experience with enterprise cloud infrastructure technologies
    • Understanding of the business value of automation solutions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms; fluent language skills in German and English
    • Ability to focus on selling specific solutions in an environment with multiple offerings and solutions
    • Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
    • Balance of strategic and tactical skills; creative thinking skills
