Cloud Architect - Sweden, Denmark or Finland

The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for a Cloud Architect to join us either in Denmark, Finland, or Sweden. In this role, you will work at the customer site as a subject matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technologies. You'll answer questions about best practices around reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups, as well as lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s technologies that deliver freedom, flexibility, and premium performance. As a Cloud Architect, you will gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructure and business issues and make recommendations appropriate to their environments. • Serve as the subject matter expert at the customer site, addressing the technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
• Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions
• Learn new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
• Adapt to changing customer requirements
• Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner

• Several years of experience in a consulting role; confidence to deliver in one-on-one assignments
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level
• Experience implementing virtualization technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments
• Practical delivery experience with infrastructure and cloud topics
• Knowledge of one or more Red Hat’s infrastructure solutions like Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat CloudForms, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, or Red Hat OpenShift
• Good customer-facing skills, with the ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
• Willingness to travel 50-80% across the Nordic region
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English
• Understanding of the open source community
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is a plus
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the ability to get it within a few weeks of start date, is a plus
