    Job summary

    The Red Hat Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Training team is looking for an Early Career Training Services Lead to join us in Dubai, U.A.E. In this role, you will be responsible for the recruitment of new universities, high schools, or any other public or private academic institutions into our new Red Hat Academy (RHA) program. You will specifically focus on the Middle East and Africa (MEA) subregion, but you will also be collaborating closely with the other inside sales representative covering Europe and Russia. As an Early Career Training Services Lead, you will communicate with educational institutions over the phone while growing existing relationships and helping to promote the consumption of the RHA curriculum in the MEA region. You’ll also be responsible for managing recruitment forecasts and tracking all information in Salesforce.com (SFDC). You'll need to be great at engaging management decision makers and building relationships over the phone.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Spend between 2-4 hours every day by calling academic institutions in the assigned region
    • Sign up as many academic institutions as possible into the RHA program
    • Profile contacts and generate leads from available academic database and internal referrals
    • Meet assigned recruitment and consumption quotas
    • Communicate daily with new and existing RHA universities over the phone to promote consumption of the RHA curriculum for their students
    • Renew existing and old customer relationships in order to engage them with the Red Hat ecosystem to provide it with new talented trained and certified associates
    • Provide follow-up activities to support Red Hat Training marketing campaigns for RHA
    • Work internally in Red Hat with account managers, inside sales representatives, solutions architects, and consultants to identify new academic institutions in the region
    • Travel to the different educational events in the MEA region or as required by management

    Required skills

    • 3-5 years of proven sales experience with a record of achieving your goals within an IT environment
    • 1-2 years of experience selling into the education industry (universities, high schools, vocational schools, etc.)
    • Experience handling opportunities, reporting, and trying to meet reported sign-in forecasts
    • Understanding of solutions selling methodologies
    • Ability to engage management decision makers and influencers at any level face to face or over the phone
    • Ability to clearly and effectively present information in public, demonstrate procedures, and respond to questions
    • Ability to interact with customers and colleagues on different hierarchical levels using good persuasion skills
    • Motivated with an engaged approach to generating new business
    • Ability to follow processes and daily tasks consistently while maintaining high attention to detail
    • Good organizational and presentation skills
    • Ability to work with many sales channels and routes to market
    • Excellent language skills in English and Arabic; any additional language is a plus
    • Experience using SFDC or similar customer relationship management (CRM) system is plus
