    Job summary

    The Red Hat Partner and Alliance team is looking for a Partner Account Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UKI) region to join us in London or Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will work with a partner team that makes a significant financial contribution to Red Hat and increases our overall customer retention. You’ll be assigned a defined set of partners in the UKI region, develop new joint go-to-market strategies based on Red Hat’s technologies, and grow revenue share with these partners. You’ll also develop new and existing relationships within the defined accounts and maximize the opportunities across the entire Red Hat’s portfolio. As a Partner Account Manager, you’ll collaborate with our corporate sales team to ensure alignment and collaboration within the region.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Manage a named set of partners to develop joint business across the UKI region
    • Meet the strategic objectives and revenue growth for the named set of partners
    • Develop go-to-market activities and solutions with partners to maximize pipeline and bookings
    • Work with account managers and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities
    • Provide one-to-one and one-to-many trainings
    • Develop, maintain, and implement business plans with all of your assigned partners
    • Provide follow-up activities to support Red Hat’s marketing campaigns
    • Manage forecasts, close deals, record sales activities, and track customer data using company standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools
    • Engage management decision makers at senior levels
    • Work with multiple sales channels and routes to market
    • Foster a team culture and share best practices
    • Answer sales queries and respond via phone or email

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of IT sales experience
    • 3+ years of partner sales experience in the IT industry
    • Understanding of solution-selling methodologies to independent software vendors (ISVs)
    • Experience driving sales to and through strategic partners
    • Solid written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
    • Solid presentation skills
    • Experience with business planning and implementation of business plans
    • Proven record of building go-to-market strategies and successful relationships between vendors and partners
