    Job summary

    The Red Hat Finance team is looking for a Sales Reporting Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will support the renewals operation, including mainly various data validation and data enrichment-type activities. You’ll also create various reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com (SFDC) and build quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to provide required analytical support. As a Sales Reporting Analyst, you’ll need to be creative to understand complex processes and come up with automation or alternatives to streamline complex and manual validation.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional groups, understand various renewal processes, adopt best practices, and help global team to streamline wherever possible
    • Quickly produce ad hoc reports and analytics in an effective manner
    • Perform quick validation and data reconciliation-type activities to support renewals operations
    • Prepare QBR reports with different KPIs for the leadership team

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or statistics with 5+ years of experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Ability to take complex business logic and translate it into functional system logic
    • Spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing large datasets and preparing various reports and dashboards for executives
    • Rich experience with building reports and dashboards in SFDC
    • Willingness to consistently work extended hours during periods of high demand, e.g., quarter or year-end; this may include weekends
