    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Key Account Manager with experience in IT solutions selling to join us in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you'll be assigned specific strategic enterprise accounts and will be responsible for developing strategic account plans and carrying them out. You’ll build new relationships and expand business with existing customers within your assigned accounts while meeting assigned sales quotas. For this position, you’ll need to be fluent in both written and verbal English and a native speaker of German language.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Successfully sell Red Hat's solutions and services to prominent enterprise accounts
    • Establish a strategic partnership with customers on different levels of their organization while understanding their business needs and presenting solutions to address them
    • Create strategic plans to develop new accounts and expand existing ones
    • Represent Red Hat to the customer and vice versa in all sales-related matters
    • Understand business and product requirements, as well as industry challenges of our customers
    • Meet assigned sales quotas
    • Work collaboratively with solutions architects, overlay structures, and insides sales representatives

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience selling complex IT solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers
    • Proven record of establishing long-lasting customer relationships that have expanded business
    • Excellent communication and technical skills to develop relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels
    • Strategic mindset with a background in developing account strategies
    • Good people management skills; ability to create a vision for your accounts and inspire your team to help make it a reality
    • Proactive approach toward products, markets, and customer business challenges
    • Good understanding of IT and data center challenges and solutions
    • Focused on building solid and trusted relationships with customers
    • Native German and fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
