    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Renewals Sales Specialist to join us in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for working on and closing renewals in close cooperation with Sales teams within a designated set of customers. This role is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with multicultural internal and external teams to improve business and create solutions that serve both Red Hat and our customers.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Work with customers and Red Hat’s sales teams to identify renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities, and optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
    • Secure the renewals business by engaging end users, partners, and distributors
    • Provide basic back office services, i.e., provide quotes, perform customer research, prepare ordering documentation, and book orders
    • Manage forecasts and pipeline, record sales activity, schedule follow-up activities as needed, and track customer data using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tool
    • Work with the Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to facilitate deals and make sure that all necessary information is available

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
    • Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position, e.g., outside sales, inside sales, telesales, or sales administration; understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
    • High-quality customer service skills
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Objection handling skills
    • Fluent language skills in Dutch and English
    • Ability to work well within a senior team and coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment
    • Motivated and committed
