    Job summary

    Come work for the fastest growing open source company in the world and help grow our sales. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Embedded Partner Sales to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will create strategic and tactical plans for business development while building good relationships and developing new business with embedded partners. You’ll need to have a solid major business partner network, as well as great communication and presentation skills.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Work closely with existing and potential division and partner companies to develop strategic account plans to grow the adoption of Red Hat’s solutions through these companies
    • Manage internal Red Hat’s associates, primarily solutions architects, consultants, and inside sales representatives, to support sales and account expansion efforts with key partners in the field
    • Create contracts with key stakeholders to promote new solutions with partners
    • Provide sales support to partner sales organizations through training, customer visits, technical and administrative information about our offerings, demonstrations, and customer price quotes
    • Create strategic and tactical plans for new business development while leading the extended Sales team in using these plans to maximize revenue and growth
    • Develop sustainable revenue across technologies
    • Understand partner business and technology solutions needs and communicate them to executives

    Required skills

    • Sales experience with a demonstrated record of success, preferably in the software or IT industries
    • Business experience with a large IT solutions vendor
    • Embedded or independent software vendor (ISV) sales experience
    • Good language skills in English and Japanese
