    Job summary

    The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will provide strategic business analysis services to our business partners. You'll work closely with the business teams to gain deep understanding of customer business strategies, processes, services, roadmaps, and the context in which their businesses operate. You'll need to understand the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges. As a Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end to end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. In addition, you'll identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Your responsibilities will also include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-sized projects to assisting project managers on larger, more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and system process analysis and design at a complex level
    • Focus on quality improvement and data management; ensure that data are reliable and valid
    • Develop process improvements, or re-engineer them, and recommend what to eliminate
    • Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones
    • Partner with internal and business stakeholders to ensure that the systems provided meet the long-term business strategies
    • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs
    • Determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results
    • Recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities and adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
    • Provide project level analyses; produce required project analysis documentation, including business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plans, etc.
    • Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements; provide necessary guidance to testers during the quality assurance (QA) processes
    • Identify improvement opportunities
    • Assess business process and system inefficiencies
    • Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction
    • Serve as a point of contact between the Operations and IT teams to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations
    • Manage relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results
    • Provide leadership to team members and peers by cooperating with others
    • Assist with and test implementation for all system and process changes to ensure that quality and new processes are working appropriately down to the field level to ensure that the entire business experience is appropriate

    Required skills

    • Experience working on large-scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
    • Solid project management skills; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point
    • Good relationship building and communication skills
    • Good technical understanding and problem-solving and leadership skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple priorities
    • Experience with customer management and business operations
    • Experience with training operations is a plus
