    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Learning Services (GLS) team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will facilitate and manage multiple technical training course development projects to publish iteratively with a progression toward DevOps. You’ll serve as the main point of contact between product owners, managers, developers, and team members to ensure that the teams meet objects using agile scrum. As a Project Manager, you will guide high-velocity, global teams. You’ll need to have a passion for agile methodology and continuous improvement. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator with expertise in leadership to guide our scrum teams.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, retrospectives, release planning, demonstrations, and other related meetings
    • Work across several simultaneous projects of different offerings, scope, timezones, and team sizes
    • Track and communicate team progression and sprint or release progress
    • Facilitate communication, improve transparency, and share information
    • Encourage discussion, conflict resolution, alternatives, and different approaches
    • Empower the team to self-organize
    • Assist in mitigating distractions and increasing the team's velocity
    • Maintain a full understanding of scrum to ensure adherence to agile and scrum concepts and principles
    • Earn respect from the team and take initiative to complete projects
    • Assist with backlog maintenance and continuous improvement
    • Provide leadership and guidance across the organization on improving adoption and refinement of agile practices

    Required skills

    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
    • 3-5 years of experience working as a scrum master with complex technical development projects
    • Experience working with global and remotely located teams
    • Experience with agile methodologies (scrum)
    • Ability to work effectively and manage workload in a dynamic environment
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented
    • Experienced and effective communicator in English
    • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with a positive attitude to motivate and encourage the team

    The following are considered a plus:


    • Experience with Rally Software (CA Agile Central)
    • Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, or Trello
    • Knowledge of working with DocBook, or other XML based documentation tool
    • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
    • Knowledge of Kanban
    • Understanding of the application of DevOps principles as it relates to organizational transformation
