    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join us in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will be teaming up with two to three key account managers. You’ll support them with large deals, but also identify and acquire new business opportunities independently of these accounts. As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will also work with external partners to grow our business. This position is a great first step to start a sales career within Red Hat and to work collaboratively with multicultural teams both internally and externally to improve business and create solutions that serve Red Hat’s top-tier customers in Denmark.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Identify and close new business opportunities in your assigned accounts, i.e., the accounts co-owned with the key account managers
    • Grow and renew existing customer relationships
    • Support your account managers by providing quotes and pricing and by responding to sales inquiries
    • Search for new business contacts; schedule appointments and other activities as agreed within the account team
    • Work with Finance, Deal Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to facilitate deals and make sure that all necessary information is provided
    • Engage with customers, partners, and distributors on a daily basis    
    • Manage forecasts and pipeline, record sales activity, and track customer data using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC)
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and Red Hat's competitive position within it

    Required skills

    • Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
    • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
    • Comfortable presenting thoughts, ideas, and successes to the business over the phone    
    • Organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities
    • Teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment
    • Fluent language skills in Danish and English
    • Experience in a similar technology or software sales support position in outside sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or sales administration; record of meeting sales goals is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline, or relevant work experience
