    Job summary

    The Red Hat Customer Experience and Engagement (CEE) team is looking for a fluent Italian and Spanish speaker with an interest in learning about Linux and other Red Hat's technologies to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will work as part of a multicultural and multilingual customer-facing technical support team that handles support requests from enterprise customers via telephone and web tickets. You'll cooperate with technical support engineers by providing high-quality translations from Italian and Spanish to English. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, owning the communication between customers and senior technicians and collaborating with a global technical team. You'll need to be able to attend both technical and non-technical training where you will develop your troubleshooting and support skills.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Interact with customers on a daily basis (Monday to Friday, no shifts) regarding technical issues; record and document issues
    • Translate Italian and Spanish queries and technical updates from customers to and from English in both written and spoken form
    • Work in a team of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) technical support engineers; cooperate with support management when necessary in order to resolve customer requests
    • Translate materials, manuals, and knowledge base articles

    • No previous professional technical experience required, training is provided to all associates
