    Job summary

    Assist Red Hat in helping a wider range of enterprise organizations with their digital transformation journeys. The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an Infrastructure Security Consultant with good technical and business skills to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will work as part of the Delivery Excellence Center (DEC) that is being developed, where you will bring the latest technology and development approaches to organizations quickly and effectively. You’ll cooperate with customers and Red Hat's account teams to tackle large problems.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Work within a team of consultants to tackle a range of technical problems
    • Develop, manage, and deliver solutions to customers as part of billable consulting projects, especially in emerging technology areas like Red Hat OpenShift
    • Communicate with customer teams directly, understand their requirements, and work together to build solutions
    • Solve problems through the development and requirements analysis
    • Work well as part of a fast-paced team, both within the DEC and with regional consulting teams

    Required skills

    • 3+ years of experience with enterprise technology, e.g., infrastructure software, operating systems, security, cloud infrastructure and management, middleware application software, system integration (SI), or application development
    • Knowledge of security-related design practices
    • Proven understanding of security processes and best practices
    • Demonstrable understanding of security tools (i.e., metrics, analysers, fuzzers, etc.)
    • Experience working in technical teams with good technical understanding
    • Understanding of the core elements of application migration and infrastructure setup and datacenter migration, cloud practices and open source emerging technologies, and everything-as-code
    • Practical, pragmatic approach to problem-solving and business growth while evaluating and improving our service offerings
    • Good communication and technical skills that enable customer relationship development at engineering, commercial, and executive levels
    • Ability to understand customer business challenges and map these to technology solutions requirements
    • Ability to produce a narrative for customers around infrastructure and application migration that meet business objectives and lead digital transformation discussions within the existing frameworks positioned by Red Hat business and engineering teams
    • Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites for engagements up to 50%
