    Job summary

    Support our middleware sales efforts. The Red Hat Sales Engineering team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join us in Turkey. In this role, you will serve as a catalyst who creates possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with customers. You’ll focus on making Red Hat JBoss Middleware solutions both practical and workable for large enterprise customers, collaborating with the Sales and Technical Delivery teams to bring our customers the best solutions from across the Red Hat JBoss Middleware suite of offerings, including Red Hat Customer Portal, Red Hat Decision Manager, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Red Hat Application Migration Toolkit, etc. You’ll need to have a balance of serious technical expertise, passion for open source, and a deep understanding of business processes and how to identify and solve problems at the enterprise level. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will also need great business insight and communication skills to present executive lT leadership with a compelling business case to invest in Red Hat’s solutions.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Maintain understanding of complex middleware solutions, design value-driven architectures, and present the application and ROI of these technology solutions
    • Gain deep understanding of customer business and IT environments and collaborate with sales executives to assess the potential application of Red Hat’s offerings
    • Provide presales technical marketing support for the development and implementation of customer applications
    • Answer technical portions of RFPs and RFIs
    • Conduct live demonstrations of Red Hat JBoss Middleware software
    • Educate prospective customers on the capabilities of Red Hat JBoss Middleware software
    • Identify the appropriate technologies to solve customer problems
    • Form relationships with customer technical associates to identify new opportunities
    • Represent Red Hat and Red Hat JBoss Middleware to our customers and our customers to Red Hat and Red Hat JBoss Middleware in sales-related matters
    • Share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes

    Required skills

    • 8+ years of presales experience
    • Ability to understand customer requirements and articulate these into technical evaluations
    • High-level technical presentation skills
    • Experience presenting proofs of concepts
    • Good technical knowledge and direct experience with Red Hat JBoss Middleware
    • Outstanding customer-facing and communication skills
    • Fluent language skills in English and Turkish
    • Willingness to travel
