    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Accounting team is looking for a Expense Reporting Business Analyst to join the Global Accounting team in Cork, Ireland. In this role, you will serve as a trusted adviser to the purchase-to-pay global process owner, process analysts, and global accounting business leaders along with working very closely with the Global Travel and Expense policy owner. You’ll provide data-driven insights that guide actions, prioritization, and decisions to optimize business outcomes and streamline operations. You’ll need to demonstrate finesse in partnering cross-functionally and globally, especially with the Information Technology (IT) team, to secure desired outcomes. We’ll need you to be highly analytical, results-driven, and motivated and enjoy staying up to date on emerging technological capabilities, particularly in automation, and how they can be applied. You will be empowered to ensure that the Concur system is designed to achieve what it is expected.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Successfully manage multiple, simultaneous implementations globally, ensuring project timelines are met and issues are addressed while adhering to the Travel and Expense Policy
    • Provide status updates to the Business Communication and Project team
    • Meet or exceed requirements for deployment productivity and quality metrics
    • Detail all implementation activities in internal tracking tools in a timely manner
    • Accurately track project time allocation on a daily and weekly basis
    • Escalate issues to designated team contacts or cross-functional teams in a timely manner to ensure implementation issues are addressed early
    • Manage credit card feed, activation, and migration process
    • Coordinate Testing - UAT, scripts, etc.
    • Collaborate with other members of the implementation team to develop and deliver web-based training and presentations covering a range of service topics
    • Write and maintain database reports to administrators and management
    • Create and maintain regular data distribution of regular system sent database reports
    • Maintain regularly used reports and create new reports as needed
    • Provide data as requested as a support for compliance, investigation, or audit
    • Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
    • Quickly ramp-up on new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation of these features after implementation

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like accounting, finance, IT, or management information systems; MBA is a plus
    • 6+ years of professional experience with 3+ years of Concur, Banking Platforms, Treasury Management (or other similar financial systems)
    • Experience with managing corporate credit card programs
    • Ability to think about systems end-to-end, strategically; planning skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid interpersonal skills; demonstrated record of collaboratively working with diverse teams
    • Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring
    • Passion for rapidly learning and applying new skills and technologies
    • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
