    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Cloud Presales Solutions Architect to join us in Puteaux, France. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Red Hat's cloud solutions. You’ll focus on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) tools like Red Hat OpenStack Platform and Red Hat Virtualization, IT automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible Tower by Red Hat and network automation, and hybrid cloud management tools like Red Hat CloudForms. You'll create possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with our customers. You will also discover and analyze customer business and technical needs and collaborate with the Sales and Technical Delivery teams and account solutions architects to help them invest wisely in the best solutions from across the Red Hat’s solutions portfolio. As a Cloud Presales Solutions Architect, you will be a crucial part of the first major experience our customers have with Red Hat.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Perform detailed architecture pitches and reviews
    • Demonstrate and carry out complex proofs of concepts
    • Create strategies to counter competitive threats and resolve issues
    • Become a domain subject matter expert; develop relationships with key customers
    • Run and support technical enablement events
    • Serve as a speaker at industry conferences, partner events, public marketing events and webinars
    • Collect, prioritize, and build a case based on multiple accounts; show trends to identify gaps and untapped opportunities in our offerings and solutions and map future market opportunities
    • Own whitepapers, analyst relationships, blogs, etc.

    Required skills

    • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
    • Experience as a sales engineer, IT architect, or an equivalent role with enterprise accounts
    • Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs and provide adapted solutions
    • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures
    • Experience working with system integrators (SI)
    • Solid skills and experience with cloud paradigms, concepts, and technologies
    • Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    • Knowledge of open source cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service and virtualization solutions like Red Hat OpenStack Platform, KVM, and oVirt
    • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions like Ansible by Red Hat, Salt, or Terraform is a plus
