    Job summary

    The Red Hat Field Marketing team is looking for a Program Marketing Manager to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will be part of our global industry marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) for Financial Service Industry (FSI). You'll foster deep partnerships with Red Hat Sales team and strategic account customers, aiming to establish a preference for Red Hat Cloud infrastructure, Middleware, and Automation and Management solutions. As a Program Marketing Manager, you will plan and carry out targeted marketing activities at the industry and customer account levels, providing insights for decision-maker engagement while maximizing the efficiency of the sales and marketing processes. This is an individual contributor role reporting to Red Hat's Japan Marketing Director.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Develop targeted industry marketing plan in collaboration with related sales and marketing key stakeholders, aligning with the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Japan Marketing and Sales teams’ strategy
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; oversee a database of named contacts to coordinate marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
    • Work with the Sales team to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts
    • Develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within these accounts
    • Collaborate with the global ABM Program team to create and gain consensus for cross-portfolio go to market (GTM) plans and marketing plays in accordance with strategic solutions portfolios and sales directives
    • Build, manage, and promote account-level ABM plans, including expert content and relevant marketing assets and initiatives that align with the customer journey and sales buying stages, and support the account GTM plan
    • Deploy ready-to-implement marketing initiatives and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis using various channels including digital, events, and social media
    • Analyze metrics and reports to determine effectiveness of program activities and ABM goals
    • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes

    Required skills

    • Background in enterprise (B2B) marketing
    • Experience working closely with leadership team and sales executives to develop marketing processes, strategies, and content requirements
    • Understand industry domains and develop value propositions that resonate with key accounts
    • Experience working in the IT industry and clear understanding of emerging technologies
    • Good communicator, pragmatic, and focusing on what's relevant
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
    • Fluent communication skills in Japanese and English

    The following are considered a plus:

    • Ability to build key relationships with both internal and external audiences
    • Experience presenting to C-level audiences
    • Solid and disciplined project management and process improvement capabilities
