Cloud Architect - Fortaleza

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join us in Fortaleza, Brazil. In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions in our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. Through a series of of both in-person and remote interactions, you'll win the trust and confidence of customer engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of Red Hat’s solutions. You will also play a critical role in bringing together cross-functional teams to meet the needs of our most demanding customers. As a Cloud Architect, you will serve as a customer advocate with these organizations to architect the right solutions and ensure that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. You’ll need to have a thorough working knowledge of and direct experience with cloud architectures and their supporting infrastructures, as well as a good understanding of DevOps models and technologies.

• Serve as a cloud subject matter expert and thought leader in the community to assess and design solutions using Red Hat's core offerings, including Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Satellite, and Red Hat Virtualization
• Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that inspire and shape customer use cases and architecture design decisions
• Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
• Oversee the design, creation, and delivery of content that enables Red Hat to sell, service, and support our cloud solutions at scale
• Work closely with product, Product Engineering, Consulting,
• Support, and Sales teams to ensure excellent customer experience with Red Hat’s solutions
• Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk
• Demonstrate expertise and vision in the cloud community by producing outstanding whitepapers, webinars, etc., and by speaking at industry-leading conferences

• Experience with customization and development, including system performance tuning, building customized distributions, and working with enterprise hardware like SAN-based storage
• Knowledge of how to implement cloud and virtualization technologies in an enterprise setting
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to a diverse audience of stakeholders
• Ability to constantly learn about new technologies and apply these concepts to customer needs
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification or equivalent combination of skills and experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, with up to 50% billable customer work
