    Job summary

    Guide stakeholder alignment and be the key operations go-to person for the India general manager and his leadership team. The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales Operations team is looking for a Senior Manager for India Sales Operations to join us in Mumbai, India. Reporting to the Senior Director, APAC Sales Operations, you will remotely manage one other team member based in Bangalore responsible for all Sales Operations tools, processes, and programs. You’ll closely interact with the India Sales general manager and the Field Sales team to guide the region team’s success. You will oversee end-to-end sales support including onboarding, tools and processes, governance and policies, project deployments, analytics, and deal orchestration. You’ll also collaborate with the APAC Sales Operations team to accelerate sales velocity, increase sales productivity and effectiveness, improve the way we do business, and reduce time to market.     Primary job responsibilities

    • Guide yearly strategic operations planning activities
    • Lead yearly account segmentation   
    • Oversee regional KPI publications
    • Manage analytics in support of Field Sales to guide improved productivity or efficiency
    • Maintain sales associates onboarding and ongoing field sales trainings
    • Support sales, monitor pipeline, and report in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
    • Facilitate smooth quarter-end financial close including opportunity housekeeping in SFDC and sales incentive support
    • Oversee Sales Operations governance and policies
    • Manage all opportunity-to-order sales tools and processes
    • Ensure Field Sales team’s readiness for product launches
    • Facilitate process improvements through simplifications and standardizations and automation
    • Maintain the deployment and adoption of Global and APAC cross-functional projects

    Required skills

    • 8+ years of relevant working experience in sales or sales operations
    • 3+ years of people management experience both direct and experience managing remote teams
    • Ability to motivate and shape others without using your authority
    • Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to manage senior stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs, translate the business needs into process and tools requirements, and guide change management
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, sales forecasting methodologies and processes
    • Understanding of planning, forecasting activities
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
    • Motivated, with the ability to work on your own and provide direction and advice
    • Experience in managing deals is a plus
