    Job summary

    The Red Hat Global Total Rewards team is looking for a Benefits Analyst to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you’ll implement and advance benefits programs and solutions. Reporting to the Manager of Global Benefits, you will be a key member of the broader global People team and will interact regularly with local, regional ,and global People team and business leaders. We need you to have both strategic and working experience, as well as a mix of corporate and small, start-up-like, high-growth company experience. We’ll expect you to provide vision and direction around strategic program development in a highly competitive, constantly changing environment. This position can be based in other locations across the EMEA, including Brno, Czech republic, Madrid, Spain, Munich, Germany, or Paris, France. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Oversee benefits programs and portfolios within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (LATAM) regions
    • Design, recommend, and implement regional and country-specific benefits programs and portfolios, consistent with Red Hat’s overall rewards philosophy and People team strategy through collaboration and consultation with People team colleagues and business leadership
    • Help lead the regional benefits strategy, aligned to Red Hat's Global strategy
    • Analyze market data, statutory requirements and benchmarks of country-specific benefits programs to provide insightful competitive and cost analysis to make program design recommendations and enable implementations
    • Look for benefits program enhancements and new programs through collaboration with People team colleagues and business leadership
    • Interact with the Talent Acquisition team to collect and consolidate candidate benefits and reward data and information
    • Remain up to date on local and regional legislative changes and recommend program changes accordingly
    • Manage relationships with 3rd-party benefits plan brokers, providers, and external vendors, including renewal and negotiation of benefits contracts and cost management
    • Support benefits-related merger and acquisition (M’n’A) efforts like due diligence, integration, and post-integration

    Required skills

    • Experience in international benefits, with specific experience in program management and working knowledge of benefits programs for multiple countries or regions, preferably EMEA and LATAM
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, economics or related field is desirable
    • Experience in designing, implementing, managing and delivering benefit programs at scale for a growing organization, across multiple geographies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both empathy and clarity; outstanding attention to detail; French language skills are big plus
    • Ability to work both on your own with minimal direction and collaboratively across multiple functions, and to be effective at influencing across teams
    • Ability to forge close relationships, shape decisions, and gain trust as an adviser; solid customer focus
    • Demonstrated track record of aligning benefit programs with business strategy in a progressive environment, while designing and delivering new programs for emerging markets
    • Innovative and creative
    • Change management skills
    • Experience in working with or managing an outsourced benefits vendor is preferred
    • Experience with multinational pooling is a plus
