    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager focusing on system integrators (SIs) to join us in Seoul, Korea. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing partner engagement within your assigned territory. You'll develop and maintain relationships with assigned SIs while working to sell Red Hat’s solutions and services to customers through them. You’ll need to have solid communication skills, as you will be providing demonstrations to show how our technologies can be integrated into partners' systems to deliver a higher ROI while communicating how open source delivers value to their customers. You'll also define the Red Hat value proposition for SIs to win both long and short-term opportunities. This is a completely sales-driven, quota-oriented role where the candidate is expected to guide large, complex partner-led customer engagements.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Ensure Red Hat has an optimum resource landscape in partner organizations, including segmentation, capability, and capacity perspective
    • Understand and have an insight into who chaebol SIs are, what they want to do, where they should go, and how they make it
    • Plan a strategy for how Red Hat should make business with chaebol SIs for both group-in (captive) and group-out
    • Develop and implement joint business plans that identify key growth areas in SI organizations to help increase revenue, capitalize on our technologies, and increase their commitment to our business relationship
    • Promote executive engagement on an ongoing basis to increase Red Hat's footprint in the SI's customer accounts
    • Manage rebates and various central programs in-line with corporate guidance to promote pay for performance through SIs
    • Engage the relevant internal Red Hat’s associates on training, education, and readiness programs for SI partners
    • Collaborate with teams in other verticals to promote their business objectives through the partner ecosystem
    • Define and manage the investments required to implement long-term growth initiatives with SIs

    Required skills

    • 10+ years of relevant experience in partner and SI sales
    • Ability to form relationships with senior leadership in SI organizations
    • In-depth knowledge of SIs and existing relationships in these types of organizations
    • Ability to sell solutions based on Red Hat’s technology with a basic technical competence
    • Experience with conflict management within SI and subsidiaries, or SIs and Red Hat’s partners
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • MBA or equivalent degree is a big plus
