    Job summary

    The Red Hat Services Operations team is looking for a Project Administrator to join us in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will support the Consulting team in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. You'll work closely with the Services Operations lead, project managers, delivery managers, and the Consulting leader, providing administration support to the local team. As a Project Administrator, you will maintain close relationships within your assigned region and with Asia Pacific (APAC) stakeholders. This role will be initially on a 12 month contract, renewable yearly based on the associate’s performance.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Coordinate with project managers and delivery managers on the time entry and time sign-off for assigned consulting projects
    • Coordinate with the back-end Finance team in India for revenue recognition basis time entry and customer sign-off
    • Update project-related data on internal tools like PSA or PA
    • Raise purchase requisitions for consulting business-related procurement
    • Raise approvals on internal tools for consulting related exceptions
    • Work on month and quarter-end activities like revenue reconciliation, approving invoices, revenue recognition-related paperwork or processes, etc.
    • Update project-related data on internal spreadsheets like ANZ forecast file or similar
    • Work on ad hoc reports or tasks as and when required

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • 1-4 years of experience working in a sales support or project coordination role
    • Good spreadsheet skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work as part of a rapidly evolving and changing team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and focus on delivering results
