    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a motivated Solutions Architect Manager to join us in Farnborough, UK. In this role, you will be a key member of the Sales and Solutions Architect Management team. You’ll provide guidance to solutions architects, our technical presales experts. Together, you'll be responsible for positioning Red Hat’s solutions and services to our end customers and partners. You will often cooperate with Sales Management, Consulting, Engineering, and Support teams to meet Red Hat's company-wide sales objectives.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Manage the Solutions Architecture team to support our field sales teams
    • Work with the regional Solutions Architect Management team to support and implement a common strategy for solutions architects in designated verticals
    • Ensure all solutions architects meet organizational objectives
    • Connect with senior management across business functions
    • Collaborate with the Sales Management team to build strategies and ensure sales objectives are met
    • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel
    • Work with marketing and product managers to provide feedback on Red Hat’s offerings and technologies
    • Demonstrate deep understanding of our portfolio and support our Sales team by translating the capabilities of Red Hat’s offerings into value propositions

    Required skills

    • Demonstrated success in a technical presales role supporting senior sales executives
    • Experience as a manager of presales engineers or experience in a senior solutions architect role
    • Record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations
    • Sales-minded with excellent customer business skills
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
    • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience
    • Extensive technical background, preferably in one of the Red Hat's portfolio technologies
