    Job summary

    The Red Hat Open Innovation Labs team is looking for a Labs Engagement Lead to join us in Puteaux, France. In this role, you’ll be the heartbeat of an Open Innovation Labs residency. We’ll expect you to be experienced Agile coach who have lead agile transformations and can coach and nurture fledgling product owners. You’ll not only act as the agile project manager in our residencies but also be involved in the wider transformation our customers are going through. Our residencies act as the catalyst of these transformations so you should feel comfortable talking to C-level executives about how we can support their business goals as well running workshops and putting together strategic proposals that support these transformation initiatives. You'll support everything from the selling and scoping of Open Innovation Labs residencies and projects to leading the delivery team's implementation, ensuring customer success. Throughout the life cycle of a residency or project, you will have control and oversight from kickoff to closeout, including determining scope details and monitoring the project's progress to ensure it conforms to customer expectations and contractual agreements.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Support presales and scoping of Consulting solutions
    • Support sales and business development for the Open Innovation Labs
    • Handle change management and escalations
    • Work with internal stakeholders to gain internal statement of work approval and delivery
    • Create efficient and qualitative proposals for customers by ensuring all needs are defined through analyzing the customer's environment and expectations
    • Build interpersonal relationships with other Red Hat departments and act as a trusted adviser to major Red Hat customers
    • Formulate detailed business cases for how an organization can achieve its business goals by embracing agility
    • Integrate creative and innovative ways to position a strategic direction
    • Influence and impassion clients to embrace Red Hat's open approach as a means of transforming not only what they do but how they do it
    • Innovate on our current thinking and develop new approaches to change how organizations and teams deliver software and systems
    • Coach teams to embrace Agile, identify and resolve impediments; track continuous improvement
    • Work with customers on initiatives to support agile transformations across business units
    • Act as the agile project manager for Open Innovation Labs residencies, including residency planning and management, team management, process management and improvement, and team building
    • Maintain product owner support and coach product owners to create product vision and roadmap
    • Support teams in converting existing Product Requirement documents to Jira Product backlog
    • Coach product owners to write effective user stories, prioritize backlog based on business value, and track value points in sprints

    Required skills

    • Agile coaching experience
    • Experience of leading transformations in an agile environment
    • Product ownership experience or experience working in a product development environment
    • Understanding of the Red Hat business strategy and economic model; good business insight and judgment
    • Demonstrated expertise in sales or supporting the sales of professional services, including developing statements of work, pricing, large-scale proposal development, and client development
    • Direct, working experience in people management through managing a team, including a successful track record in talent development within the team
    • Experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant
    • Knowledge of project management processes and experience with revenue-based project reporting
    • Several years of experience as a Scrum master with a coaching mentality in a 100% agile environment with a an organization that ships software products
    • Solid experience delivering projects using Agile or Kanban methodology
    • Excellent cross-functional communication skills; great written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to management and C-level
    • Established, sustainable network of customer relationships
    • Demonstrated ability to understand the technical impact of projects from supportability, scalability, and repeatability aspects, as well as the business impact to both Red Hat and customers in delivering and scoping projects
    • Willingness to travel frequently to client locations throughout France
    • Fluent language skills in French and English
    • Bachelor's or master’s degree is preferred
