    Job summary

    Work closely with a multicultural team to enable sales growth, improve business, and create solutions that serve both Red Hat and our customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to join us in Farnborough, UK. In this role, you will be teamed with an experienced field sales account manager to enable sales growth for both new and existing customers. You'll identify and close all the renewal opportunities with these customers, manage sales forecasts on a quarterly basis, and track customer data. You will also work with current and prospective customers over the phone and email to identify new business renewals and upsell and cross-sell opportunities to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with key account managers by providing quotes and pricing and responding to sales inquiries
    • Work with customers to identify renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities; optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
    • Work with Salesforce.com and manage the entire renewals sales process
    • Keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities in our customer contact database; schedule follow-up activities as needed
    • Update and manage the pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts
    • Work with Finance, Deal Desk, Legal, and Sales Operations teams across the region to facilitate deals and make sure all necessary information is provided

    Required skills

    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position like outside, inside, or telesales or sales administration
    • Record of achieving sales and personal goals
    • Understanding of complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
    • High-quality customer service skills
    • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
    • Ability to work well within a senior team and coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment
    • Motivated and committed
