    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Associate Manager for the Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Solution Architecture to join our Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan (SEATH) team in Singapore. In this role, you will be a key member of the Sales and Services teams, providing leadership and guidance to technical pre-sales experts who are responsible for positioning Red Hat's cloud infrastructure solutions and services to our customers and partners. This includes working with Sales management, Consulting, Engineering, and Support teams to meet company-outlined sales objectives. Your team will consist of solutions architects across the region.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Lead the Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Architecture team in supporting our Field Sales teams
    • Collaborate with alliance management on partner engagement strategies
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Red Hat cloud infrastructure solutions and support the sales force by translating the capabilities of Red Hat offerings into value propositions
    • Select, recruit, develop, and evaluate personnel
    • Provide and oversee presales technical support in account engagements, sales presentations, requests for information (RFI) or proposal (RFP), proofs of concepts, and demonstrations of our offerings
    • Work with marketing and product managers to provide feedback on Red Hat solutions and technologies

    Required skills

    • 5-8 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role supporting senior sales executives
    • 1-2 years of experience as a team lead or manager for pre-sales engineers
    • Record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations
    • Sales-minded, with excellent customer business skills
    • Good leadership and management skills in motivating a team, recruiting, and developing team members
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
    • Solid technical background in one of Red Hat's Cloud Infrastructure solutions (Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat CloudForms, Ansible by Red Hat, Red Hat Ceph Storage, or Red Hat Gluster Storage)
    • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent technical training
