    Job summary

    The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an HR Administrator to join us in Farnborough, UK. In this role, you will coordinate local HR activities and tasks in close collaboration with the local HR team. You’ll serve as a point of contact for associates for daily HR activities, supporting the team with HR programs, administering HR tasks, and maintaining employee documentation for the UK.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Manage associates and partner team queries and walk-ups, including associate absence, correspondence, benefits, etc.
    • Work with the Payroll team on country queries and documentation
    • Support the management of leave, sickness, and absence records; provide advice and administration support to associates on related policies and processes
    • Create, manage, and maintain employee files
    • Support the management of exits and related documents
    • Cover standard daily HR administrative activities, including communication with government bodies, statutory reports, and annual documents
    • Support in creation of internal processes and documentation for the HR team and Red Hat associates
    • Participate in country-specific HR activities and cross-regional projects and initiatives

    Required skills

    • Good project coordination, time management, and organization skills
    • Ability to structure and coordinate multiple activities while maintaining high attention to detail
    • Good employee-facing communication and interpersonal skills; ability to sense challenges and identify next steps with the support of HR partners
    • Supportive and service-oriented with the ability to delegate tasks
    • Fluent language skills in English
    • Flexibility and initiative
    • Understanding of confidentiality
