    Job summary

    Grow the awareness and demand for our innovative open source solutions. The Red Hat Field Sales team is looking for a Storage Solutions Sales Specialist to join us in Puteaux, France. In this role, you will focus on developing the market and creating demand for Red Hat Storage Gluster and Ceph solutions throughout the French region. You'll serve as a domain expert working closely with Field Sales and Partner and Alliances team to develop value propositions that help customers with their current and future storage challenges. As a Storage Solutions Sales Specialist, you will also ensure Red Hat Storage is effectively deployed in production environments so that it becomes the strategic choice for scale-out storage and the customer becomes a public reference.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Act as the main point of contact in France for storage solutions at Red Hat
    • Discover net new accounts and collaborate with the Red Hat Storage Presales team to manage meaningful proofs of concepts
    • Achieve quarterly and annual sales booking targets, as well as proofs of concepts and new wins targets
    • Identify and develop an ecosystem to expand Red Hat's solutions reach into the major France verticals
    • Guide the customer from initially considering and adopting storage to potentially extend it into public or hybrid cloud architectures
    • Collaborate with the Red Hat Sales teams, exceed goals, and accurately forecast pipeline activity
    • Work closely with the enterprise sales account teams to identify target accounts and use cases; assist in creating and carrying out account plans
    • Become a trusted adviser to senior IT and business executives within the French market to create a long-term partnerships with customers

    Required skills

    • Extensive experience in a solutions sales role, including 3+ years focused on storage solutions
    • Demonstrated storage market and competitive knowledge opportunities
    • Experience selling in both a direct and partner model with a solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services
    • Ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
    • Good balance of strategic and tactical skills, as well as excellent creative thinking skills
    • Solid history of quota attainment
    • Excellent verbal and written French and English communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
    • Knowledge of and passion for open source technology is a major plus
