    Job summary

    The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) People Infrastructure Operations team is looking for a People Coordinator to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, maintaining our applicant tracking system, and drafting employment contracts. You'll also handle all new hire-related documentation, manage the new hire onboarding process, prepare employment confirmation letters, create contract amendments by changing employment status, and answering employee questions through our People Help Desk service.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Schedule interviews for candidates in APAC; support interview coordination in other regions when required
    • Arrange travel for candidates; manage candidate reimbursement for interview travel expenses
    • Work with managers and recruiters to ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience
    • Develop relationships with candidates to guide them through the interview process
    • Administer the applicant tracking system to update, audit, and maintain candidate data
    • Manage incoming candidate queries by providing directions and guidance to our online application process
    • Create employment contracts and all new hire-related documentation; manage delivery and return of all new hire paperwork
    • Follow up with hiring managers to ensure account requests and laptop orders have been placed for all new hires
    • Answer associates’ questions related to HR topics through the People Help Desk
    • Work with HRIS and payroll to create new hire accounts
    • Contribute to global People Infrastructure Operations projects

    Required skills

    • 2+ years of experience in human resources or recruitment support
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Experience working in a high-volume, global environment is preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources is preferred
