Help us fulfill our vision to guide the strategic success of our customers using Red Hat's open source software. The Red Hat Open Innovation Labs (OIL) team is looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join us in the UK. In this role, you’ll contribute to our vision and help us distill it into a residency-style engagement, where we work together with customers in small teams to build, test, and iterate over innovative application prototypes attached to real business value. You will use a variety of modern application development practices, along with emerging technologies from the communities of open source, to get it done. You will also perform rapid prototyping that allows us to verify key assumptions and test hypothesis before a single line of code has been written. Our Agile and DevOps practices enable us to develop fast innovative solutions, while the UX work focuses our efforts on building the right thing and how the users would really use it. Throughout the life cycle of a residency or project, you will be responsible for all aspects of UX and UI including user research, rapid prototyping, wireframing, interaction design, usability, and heuristics testing. We’ll need you to shape the development team and coach the client decision-makers in delivering a compelling design.
