    Job summary

    Develop and implement key programs to generate demand, promote revenue, and build brand awareness for Red Hat’s solutions. The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Channel Marketing Manager for the Southeast Asia (ASEAN) to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will work through our partner network, including solution providers, VARs, DISTIs, OEMs, cloud partners, ISVs, and system integrators. We’ll need you to have an understanding of channel marketing programs like alliances, distribution, and the reseller channel. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders in channel marketing, partner sales, regional teams, as well as Sales, Marketing Operations, and IT. You will communicate between these teams while representing the requirements of Red Hat's partners. As a Channel Marketing Manager, you'll work with internal and external teams and vendors to support the growing business needs. You will also arrange launch activities, related events, sales promotions, and manage partner communication.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Manage the strategy and initiatives that align with channels, sales, and marketing goals
    • Design and implement all channel marketing activities to ensure growth through our partner network
    • Actively engage and work with local resellers and distributors to create and guide marketing campaigns to generate leads against agreed metrics, grow revenue and sales opportunities
    • Organize and coordinate company and partner events, conferences, and meetings
    • Manage the market development fund (MDF) plan in the region
    • Create and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to be able to measure revenue and return on investment (ROI) from programs implemented in the channel
    • Contribute content for the monthly APAC partner newsletter

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience in channel marketing in the IT industry
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field
    • Familiar with the partner landscape and ecosystem in the IT industry
    • Solid understanding of overall marketing concepts and solid track record to analyze data and draw inference
    • Experience developing and achieving marketing plans
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Track record of building relationships with sales management, partners and collaborating on the definition and prioritization of marketing programs while managing expectations to ensure realistic commitments are set
    • Deep understanding of functional aspects of campaign management and technical administration through marketing automation tools; knowledge of Qliksense, Salesforce.com and Eloqua is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal language skills in English
    • Willingness to travel
    • Knowledge of sales cycles, models, tools, waterfall processes, and end-to-end business processes is an advantage
