    Job summary

    The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join us in Warsaw, Poland. In this role, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert for Red Hat's cloud and infrastructure solutions and support the Sales process in Poland and the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. You'll discover and analyze customer business and technical needs and collaborate with the Sales and technical delivery teams to help customers invest wisely in the best solutions from across the Red Hat portfolio. As a Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will primarily focus on cloud and infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat CloudForms, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, and Red Hat storage solutions. You'll need excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain solid, long-term trust-based relations as the crucial part of the experience our customers have with Red Hat. You’ll also need to have a balance of technical expertise and of thorough understanding of business and sales processes.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Conduct detailed architecture pitches and reviews
    • Prepare and carry out custom demos and proofs of concepts
    • Master technical expertise to become a subject matter expert in a specific area
    • Build and maintain long-term trust-based relationship with customers and partners
    • Help defining regional strategy and technology coverage
    • Run technical enablement activities for end customers, partners, and Red Hat teams
    • Support marketing activities with technical content and delivery
    • Collect and build a case based on multiple accounts, show trends to identify gaps and opportunities regarding our offerings and solutions, and map future market opportunities
    • Create strategies to counter competitive threats and resolve issues
    • Create documentation, whitepapers, blogs, articles, etc.

    Required skills

    • 7-12 years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, IT architect, or equivalent role with enterprise accounts
    • Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs
    • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures
    • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
    • Advanced knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating systems
    • Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Solution (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Solution (PaaS) cloud solutions, including experience deploying and architecting such technologies
    • Knowledge of technologies like virtualization, clustering, directory services, identity management, or automation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Willingness to travel
    • Experience with programming languages like Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, or Ansible by Red Hat is a plus
    • Experience across one or more vertical industry areas is a plus
