    Job summary

    Help grow our Sales team and improve our processes. The Sales Operations team is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst to join us in Mexico City. In this role, you’ll facilitate the implementation of non-standard or complex deals. You will provide assistance to Sales and stakeholders in the structuring and documentation of complex deals while adhering to the corporate policies, processes, programs, and systems that affect the structuring and implementation of revenue transactions. We’ll expect you to be passionate, dedicated, and have a proven ability to understand complex problems while providing explanations and solutions which are sound and clearly communicated.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Establish solid, trusted working relationships with all Red Hat departments and groups that contribute to the structure of the non-standard or complex deal, specifically Sales, Business Affairs, Finance, Operations, Product Management, Product Marketing, Global Professional Services, and Global Support Services
    • Review business terms language in non-standard or complex agreements for compliance with corporate policies; ensure use of Red Hat agreements and business forms whenever possible
    • Draft business terms language for non-standard or complex agreements; work closely with Business Affairs and Revenue on contract review and revision
    • Work with multiple internal groups in responding to RFPs to produce compelling, cohesive response documents that comply with corporate and financial policies
    • Ensure that deal practices are documented, optimized, communicated, adhered to, and in support of global financial, operational, and sales objectives
    • Advise on deal structure and possible ramifications

    Required skills

    • 5+ years of experience in the responsibilities mentioned above in a technology company
    • Background in finance, revenue, contracts, legal administration, or operations (business, sales, channel, RFP process) in deadline-based positions involving heavy interaction with multiple levels of management and peers
    • Familiarity with operations, order processing, revenue recognition, legal contracts, purchase orders, license agreements.
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, corporate law, or similar
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English; advanced knowledge of English as many meetings will be held in this language
    • Proven skills in negotiation, analysis, problem-solving, and leadership
    • Organized, detail-oriented, motivated, persistent, and exhibit skills in diplomacy and influence
    • Knowledgeable in spreadsheet analysis
    • Comfortable handling multiple, urgent-priority tasks or projects, and relationships under pressure and stress
    • Adept at working quickly and thoroughly under changing conditions and timetables
    • Experience with Salesforce and Oracle is a plus
    • Broad experience with  drafting contract language is preferred
