Job summary

Help Red Hat grow by identifying the right talent. The Red Hat Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Senior Talent Recruiter to join our Asia Pacific (APAC) sourcing team in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will use strategic researching and sourcing techniques to manage Red Hat's candidate pipeline for Sales and Services roles in Japan, and across the APAC region. You'll partner with hiring managers to understand their requirements and develop a sourcing strategy to identify the best talent, as well as manage the applicant flow, promote associate referrals, and most importantly, use your research skills to uncover hidden talent. Once you identify the best candidates, you will act as an ambassador for Red Hat and effectively position our employer brand to hire candidates to opportunities. We'll need you to have a track record of sourcing highly skilled software sales professionals in Japan.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Focus on sales account manager, sales manager, inside sales, and solutions architect positions
  • Identify potential Red Hatters using a variety of sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn, Bizreach, Careercross and Facebook
  • Network with Red Hat associates to encourage candidate leads and referrals
  • Manage candidate pipeline and ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Actively market potential candidates to hiring managers
  • Become a Red Hat brand ambassador and interact with communities and individuals through social media, including cultivating followers and delivering high-quality, relevant content
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements

Required skills

  • University degree or equivalent amount of work experience
  • Proven recruiting experience (corporate or agency)
  • Demonstrated success using recruiting tools, e.g. boolean search, databases, and social media
  • Interest in and passion for technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese
  • Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and public speaking in both mentioned languages
  • Motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to get past roadblocks using creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mentor and train other recruiters
