    Job summary

    The Red Hat Inside Sales team is looking for a Territory Inside Sales Representative to join us in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business, maintaining, and closing deals at mostly existing mid-market customers in the Swiss French as well the Swiss German part. Together with our partners, you'll manage quarterly forecasts and track customer data, too. In this highly collaborative position, you will work in cooperation with external partners, internal sales teams, and solutions architects to improve services and create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers. As this role will serve both the Swiss French and Swiss German territory, we’ll need you to be fluent in both French and German. This role requires 30-40% travel within Switzerland

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Sell Red Hat's enterprise offerings and services into an assigned territory via telephone with our external partners
    • Identify new opportunities as well as create and progress pipeline of Red Hat solutions
    • Establish and maintain a solid relationship with the Red Hat ecosystem (distributors, solutions providers, OEM partners, system integrators and independent software vendors)
    • Answer sales queries via phone and email and process leads in accordance with Red Hat's service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Meet assigned sales quotas, while growing and renewing existing customer relationships and acquiring new business
    • Manage forecasts, close deals, record sales activity, and track customer data using company standard CRM tools
    • Make sure proposals and quotes of specific solutions get sent out to gain new customers and upsell existing accounts
    • Maintain and update a pipeline for accurate weekly forecasts

    Required skills

    • Demonstrated success in enabling sales growth and achieving sales targets in a sales support, inside sales, telesales, or business development role, preferably in a software, hardware, or IT services company
    • Ability to open up new customer relationships and expand existing ones by engaging and identifying opportunities for Red Hat solutions
    • Ability to close deals together with partners while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
    • Motivated and results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
    • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers to become the trusted adviser for all services and software solutions Red Hat can offer to its customers
    • Fluent language skills in French and English; knowledge of German is a plus
    • Residing in Geneva or Lausanne, Switzerland, or willing to relocate
