Job summary

Use your process and change management expertise to help the Sales team operate smoothly. The Red Hat Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding efficiency and creating an environment for delivering successful improvements across all aspects of our business. This position requires specialized expertise in process management, organizational effectiveness, change management and excellent communication skills. A key element of your role will be to analyse existing operational processes that support the sales cycle, in addition support the implementation of a continuous improvement framework to ensure that our processes support our changing sales models, rapid growth, and increasing product sales.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Directly engage with the Sales, Sales Operations and other business teams to identify and manage improvement opportunities
  • Incorporate data analysis, project management, and business process improvement methodologies to lead cross functional changes to business processes
  • Work with the Regional Sales Operations team to guide the implementation of global projects
  • Support management of business processes and governance
  • Understand the Red Hat Business Process Management Strategy and benefits it delivers to our stakeholders
  • Interface with the business to engage and lead functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather business requirements to design core processes
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in the development of quality process programs with the Regional Sales Operations teams
  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable continuous process improvement framework to increase sales and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with IT and System Change Implementation Leads to ensure the correct mapping and impact of business processes to business systems
  • Partner with relevant groups within the business to define requirements for process design, development, and implementation of new business systems supporting sales
  • Measure performance and provide KPI's and metrics for key operational processes
  • Work with the business process manager to build a governance framework to capture and manage process change requests, assessing business impacts

Required skills

  • 5+ years of working in a business process management and improvement role
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business field
  • Experience with program and project management process, policy, and tools; good understanding of change management
  • Ability to deconstruct processes and policies and metrics, to identify areas of opportunity leading the development and implementation of new processes and policies
  • Ability to guide projects efficiently in a cross-functional environment by establishing respect and confidence in the business communities
  • Experience of working in a fast moving and pressurised operations environment
  • Focused on results and commercial environment with excellent business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire people where there is and is not a direct reporting relationship
  • Willingness to work across different functions
  • Demonstrated experience of managing stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in simplified terms
  • Knowledge of sales methods
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
