Job summary

Establish relationships with partners across the region and increase Red Hat’s revenue. The Red Hat Training team is looking for a passionate and experienced Red Hat Training Partner Account Manager to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will manage training partners and help them grow Red Hat’s business. We’ll need you to have creative and strategic planning skills to define systems and processes that will successfully carry our training services to market.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Manage training partners, provide support to them and help them grow the training business
  • Identify and generate new training opportunities among existing partners
  • Recruit new training partners to build a healthy partner ecosystem
  • Meet assigned sales quotas, grow and renew existing partner relationships, and acquire new business
  • Manage forecasts, close deals, record sales activity, and track partners’ data using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools, e.g., (SFDC)

Required skills

  • Demonstrated success in a similar position like managing channel partners with a proven record of achieving your goals
  • Knowledge of the complete sales-cycle management from prospecting to closing
  • Positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering high-quality service to our partners
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with partners through trust and credibility
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, especially on the phone and in person
  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance issues with federal agencies and the public sector is a plus
