    Job summary

    Be responsible for all aspects of growing and nurturing of the partner network and of accelerating sales through partner channels. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Channel Sales Lead to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will be the primary business contact for Red Hat partners in the country. You’ll collaborate with partners to help develop pipeline and guide and close deals. As a Channel Sales Lead, you will be in close interaction with internal Red Hat (e.g., Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Technical, etc.) teams to promote close collaboration between partners and drive joint-deal wins. You’ll develop and own the partner strategy and guide the enablement and development of partners in the country.

    Primary job responsibilities

    • Define and carry out creative strategies to build relationships and grow the business through the channel
    • Manage and develop close channel partner relationships
    • Promote co-marketing opportunities and programs with partners
    • Meet or exceed planned quarterly and annual targets for channel partners
    • Identify, recruit, and develop new partners
    • Manage internal Red Hat representatives like solutions architects, consultants, and inside sales representatives to support sales and account expansion efforts
    • Provide support to partner sales organizations through training, customer visits, technical and administrative information, demonstrations, or customer price quotes
    • Define and manage the investments required to implement long-term growth initiatives with partner accounts
    • Develop and implement joint business plans to increase revenue on our technologies and ensure partners' engagement

    Required skills

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business, or marketing
    • 8+ years of experience of partner and channel sales management
    • Experience in go-to-market strategy, planning, and implementation
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build relationships with C-level executives in partner organizations
    • Understanding of infrastructure software and open source technologies is a plus
