Job summary

Support the priorities of the in-country sales, services, and channel teams for the technical audiences. The Red Hat Latin America (LATAM) Sales team is looking for a Principal Project Manager to join us in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will manage and lead the internal field and channel enablement program and improve the productivity of internal and external associates. You’ll play a key part in improving field enablement from the technical and non-technical perspectives and guide it toward a solution by creating new hire ramp-up programs and using online enablement and face-to-face trainings in a balanced proportion.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Assess business needs specific to the region, resources, and other requirements to achieve the expected business growth
  • Support regional leadership’s prioritization of enablement needs tied to the yearly planning
  • Use capacity planning to guide focused enablement efforts, including budget and scheduling
  • Track and measure effectiveness of enablement
  • Follow up on and design improvement plans when needed
  • Create consistent and effective communication channels to maximize enablement spending
  • Improve field enablement from a technical perspective and move toward a solutions-led approach
  • Support the growth in emerging technologies through increased enablement of these offerings and solutions for the receiving audiences
  • Cooperate with the Red Hat University team to carry out programmes to keep associate skills updated
  • Create new hire ramp-up programs using enablement and face-to-face trainings in a balanced proportion
  • Identify, pilot, test and implement suitable trainings or programs to improve the understanding of business, verticals, and solutions
  • Represent LATAM in the global enablement effort; find and share best practices globally or regionally
  • Work with worldwide teams to source expertise from other teams
  • Create a program management strategy around scaling the program through virtual, to-the-top, and smart choices around areas to spend

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in enablement and change management; knowledge of the software industry a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple product teams in different countries in LATAM, encourage them and promote accountability of results
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document business needs and convert them into deliverable programs
  • Great written and verbal communications skills and curiosity
  • Experience in agile and multicultural environments
  • Persuasion skills as an integrator and leading peers with solid program management experience
  • Understanding of learning process management
  • Good language skills in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus
