As an Account Executive is a sales professional responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients. The primary focus of the role is to generate revenue by selling products or services to new and existing customers in the telco & government sectors. Account Executives play a crucial role in the growth and success of a company by identifying potential opportunities, understanding client needs, and effectively presenting solutions that meet those needs.

What you will do

  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.
  • Handle price negotiations and contract discussions to close deals while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure client needs are met effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activity reports, and client information using CRM software.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to sales management, helping to assess progress and make informed decisions.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role selling SW solutions to the telco & government sectors; understanding the opportunities that exist within these market segments
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in selling complex solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, and internal engineering, commercial, and executive levels Solid understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, processes, offerings, and competition
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales-related tools
     

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with and an existing network in the infrastructure market of the information technology (IT) including technologies like operating systems, middleware, virtualization, cloud, and system management
